How to choose a photo booth rental service.

It’s likely your first rental, so what questions do you ask?

Here’s four questions that will help you with your decision.

  1. Can we test your photo booth? The booth rental company should be willing to do this for you.  Use it, consider its size, consider its appearance.  It should work flawlessly as they demonstrate it to you, as it must during your event.
  2. Can we contact your most recent client? Every booth provider can refer you to happy clients but asking for their most recent customerwill give you a chance to speak to someone that may or may not offer a positive review.
  3. Can we review your fees? Look closely at these.  Some booth rentals quote a low price up front but hide many fees such as travel fees, set up fees, print fees, paper fees, prop fees, and scrapbooking fees.
  4. Have you ever had problems at an event?  How did you resolve them? Every company has encountered problems:  the booth doesn’t take pictures, the booth wouldn’t fit in an elevator, it rained at an outdoor event, they ran out of ink, etc.  If the company can describe how they resolved the problems, you can assume that they will be resourceful enough to fix any unexpected issues at your event.

Be sure to ask these 4 questions.  The answers you get will influence which service you choose.
